Bug hunts and pond dipping – what’s lurking in our ponds, hiding in the long grass, buzzing around the garden.

1.00 -2.00pmWildlife Walk on Home Farm Field with ecologist Rachel Bicker. The field behind the garden is rich in wildlife – but with a few tweaks could be even better. Find out what’s growing and hiding in the bushes
12.30-1.30pm & 4.00–5.00pmFlower and leaf pounding creativity workshop Takaki (or Hapa) Zome is the Japanese art of transferring botanical dyes from flowers and leaves onto fabric by ‘hammering’ them with a pebble. Suitable for adults and children
1.30 pm 3.30 pm 5.00 pmBees. Find out about honeybees with Ben at the forest garden hives. We’ve even got some spare bee suits for people to have a closer look
